About Me
I love animals and outdoor adventures! It has been a dream of mine since I was 12 years old, to have a home on property in the woods with plenty of animals. I am grateful to be living this dream now!
I have had dog companions every year since I was 3. My heart is blessed with all of the love and friendship from each one of those wonderful animals. There is a statement that I adore, “I reached for a hand and found a paw.” This is profoundly true in my life.
The goats have been a part of my world for the past 3.5 years. I have work experience with research, administration of medications, feeding (babies & adults), husbandry and hiking.
The horse has been a lifelong spirit animal and I have been blessed to always have friends with horses. I have also volunteered at horse ranches to be in their presence and to learn from them. I have college level equine education, grooming, lunging, walking and riding experience. Both in western and dressage. I am comfortable administering medications and supplements. I had an opportunity to visit an Equine Healing Retreat Ranch this past year. It was an amazing opportunity to feel their energy, to have them help me move some long held pains and heal through their presence.
In addition, I have an educational background in Animal Science & Biology with a BS in Rangeland Conservation & Restoration Ecology.
My life is complete being surrounded by nature and in the presence of animals 
About Freyja
Freyja is an energetic and loving sweet girl with all of the wiggles and cuddles you can stand! She is a great bird hunter, loves her hikes and rest times in the creeks. Freyja stole my heart as a 6 week old puppy. Both Saxon and Freyja were the last of their litters. Somehow that feels perfect and meant to be for our lives.
About Saxon
Saxon came into my life as a wonderfully sweet healer of my heart. He loves hiking, swimming in the water and goes crazy in the snow! He often believes he is a fox as he digs into rodent burrows and nose dives as a fox does. Saxon is a great family dog, a young bird hunter and a goat herd protector on the trails.
About My Goats
The Goats are simply amazing and fun! Each displaying their own unique personality and way of loving. Geronimo is our herd leader. Willow is our only female. I was there the day she was born and I fell in love. The goats have been training on the trails and in the hills with saddles and will begin packing some weight this year. They have already been the highlight of several volunteer hiking adventures with the Wild Hearts of Idaho.
